Yesterday’s Shadow – July 2016

I returned to Yesterday’s Shadow at The Pack and Carriage to play a couple of sets alongside Demondaz, Jonny Haart, The Scot and The Count. DJ Terminates Here vs DJ The Scott – Euro 2016 Final Warm-Up Special

Scott and myself have made a habit of once-a-quarter Open Request List events at Aces and Eights after each Alternative Bring’n’Buy Sale. We decided to try it as a standalone event. As it happens, it fell on the same night as the Euro 2016 final between France and Portugal, so this event served as something of a warm-up. Here’s what I ended up playing.

Set 1 – 5:15pm

Depeche Mode – I Feel You
Mephisto Walz – Age of Nothing
Virgin Prunes – Pagan Love Song
Pyrolator – Max
Suicide – Ghost Rider
Martin Dupont – It’s No Use
Joachim Witt – Goldener Reiter
The Cure – 10:15 Saturday Night
Devo – Whip It

Set 2 – 6:20pm

AC/DC – Touch Too Much
Van Halen – Runnin’ With The Devil
Ozzy Osbourne – Crazy Train
Alice Cooper – Poison
Motörhead – ( We Are ) The Road Crew
The Beatles – Revolution
The Who – Baba O’Reilly
Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now

Set 3 – 7:25pm

Pulp – Disco 2000
Blur – Song 2
Charlatans – North Country Boy
Bon Jovi – Wanted Dead Or Alive
Europe – Rock The Night
REO Speedwagon – Keep On Lovin’ You
Argent – God Gave Rock’n’Roll (no, not the Kiss version, ever)
Bad Religion – Them And Us
Ramones – I Wanna Be Sedated

Half-Time Tag Team

We usually do this at the end of our sets, but this time we squeezed it in at half-time.

Chumbawumba – Tubthumping (Dedicated to Christano Ronaldo…..)
The Jam – In The City
Whitesnake – Ain’t No Love In The Heart Of The City
Deep Purple – Black Night
