Alternative Bring’n’Buy Sale – March 2017

The quarterly alternative retail experience continues into it’s 11th year! The Tufnell Park Dome has been reconfigured a bit, but DJ The Scott and myself continue to provide the sountrack, this time accompanied by Jonny Haart and Demondaz from Yesterday’s Shadow (plus various other events, but YS is the only other place you’ll find all of us regularly!). Tragedy >Four<

This was the fourth edition of my Tragedy >For Us< event, and also the first Terminates Here promoted event to feature live bands, with Black Light Ascension, Personal Propaganda Machine and DJ Translight all playing live sets (I recommend you check all of them out!). DJs Nathan Nothing and Kriegslok also returned, DJing between the bands and Nathan also joining me to play the afterparty. Everyone involved did a brilliant job – it really couldn’t have gone better,

The timing of my sets and the audience meant my own sets were a little more ‘populist’ than normal, though still keeping largely to the music policy. As the event was also a celebration of International EBM Day (24/2), there were a higher-than-normal number of Front 242 tracks in the set.

Set 1

Front 242 – No Shuffle
THX – To Travel
Frame Of Mind – Heart Beat
Skinny Puppy – Smothered Hope
AutoDaFeh – Divided We Fall
Escalator – God Eat God
Leæther Strip – Strap Me Down
VNV Nation – Cold
Front 242 – Welcome To Paradise

Set 2

Ministry – Revenge
Cory Hart – Sunglasses At Night
Kraftwerk – Numbers
Nitzer Ebb – Let Your Body Learn
DAF – Der Mussolini
Invincible Spirit – Push!
Project Pitchfork – Conjure
:Wumpscut: – Wreath Of Barbs
Die Krupps – Robo Sapien

Set 3

Front 242 – Tragedy >For You<
Die Form – Chronovision
Kirlian Camera – Eclipse (Anniversary)
VNV Nation – Joy
Front 242 – Headhunter V1
