Terminates Here vs The Scott

Later in the night, Scott and myself decided to deliver our lengthiest tag-team set yet. Had we been able to go on for longer, we would have probably made it back as far in rock history as The Rolling Stones. As it happens, punk rock was as far as we got. Scott’s selections are marked with (S).

DJ Terminates Here vs DJ The Scot – March 2015

After the Alt Bring’n’Buy Sale, the final set of the weekend was back in Aces and Eights, a venue I highly recommend for excellent beer (Camden Hells), excellent pizza and, of course, the music. This event was run on an ‘open request list’ basis, and this time we got a real mix of genres to cover.

Alternative Bring’n’Buy Sale – March 2015

Second set of the weekend, and back to London’s foremost event for alternative bargain hunting. This time, no technicals! Joining DJ The Scot and myself today was Grimorg from the London Vampire Meetup. He handled the gothic rock side of things, leaving the alternative rock to Scott, and all the electronics to me!

5pm Tag Team

And then over the road to Aces and Eights…..

Tragedy >For Us< - TH-IrrEv #05

After a long wait, the 5th Terminates Here Irregular Event came to London. This time, myself, Nathan Nothing and Kriegslok explored the worlds of old-school EBM, dark electro and minimal wave. Of all the IrrEv’s so far, this was the one I most wanted to become a ‘regular’, and it may well become so. But for now, this is what I played:

SPOCK – Never Trust A Klingon
Portion Control – Icon
Force Dimension – Dust (X-tended)
Borghesia – Discipline
AutoDaFeh – Retro Electric

Reptile – January 2015

This was an event that was supposed to happen in December 2014, but unfortunately a police cordon around the venue on the night resulted in a last-minute cancellation. All concerned returned to Nightclub Kolis on Saturday night, and this time everything went to plan. The centrepiece of tonight’s event was Jayce Lewis’ band Protafield making the trip from South Wales to London to provide a particularly memorable live event. My first set of the night was immediately before their show, the second later in the night.

Set 1 -Pre-Protafield

Nitzer Ebb – Let Your Body Learn

EOL-Audio Archive

This is a collection of various reviews I wrote for my old EOL-Audio website, and later in other places.  Some have been edited for clarity and factual accuracy, but the original opinions are intact, even if I’ve changed my mind since then.

I no longer host the content as individual posts, as they were beginning to swamp newer content.  However, the full EOL-Audio texts has been preserved in a PDF, for those who want to read absolutely everything – EOL Audio Archive PDF (4Mb file).
